The number and diversity of requests for assistance from community organizations continues to grow. This situation which arose in recent years is closely linked to the needs of the population in many areas vital to the development of an inclusive society. The Foundation's actions are therefore aimed at supporting organizations whose mission is inseparable from improving the living environment of all members of the community.
It supports a wide range of services for families, children, youth and seniors, as well as material assistance programs such as food banks and transitional housing, particularly for the homeless, women who are victims of domestic violence and people suffering from substance abuse.
The Foundation pays particular attention to retention in schools and academic success, and to rehabilitation and recreation programs for people with physical or intellectual disabilities.
Donations to organizations are always made on the basis of their roots in the community, significant volunteer involvement and their long term influence.
